Re: Siren of the Seven Seas

I figured if there is anything a "The Sea" themed derby needs most, its a kick butt mermaid. Or even better, a deadly siren. I unfortunately waited until the actual school week started to start designing, so I hope it's good! <3

Why is her arm up like that? It looks like it's coming out of the top of her head.

I really like the colors, though,

My speech is not parsing. I am speaking in ellipsis.

I agree. She looks like a contortionist. Which is not necessarily a bad thing... just unexpected.

She's got two left hands.

since there's no shading on the top hand, you can't distinguish left and right. it's probably intended to be a right hand.

Better than I can do, but her right shoulder (the one up in the air) and he left hip (her left, viewer's right) are both a bit out of perspective.

Thanks for all the comments. Yeah I wanted her to have a really dynamic pose. After time was up, I thought of some others that would have been way cooler than this one.

And it doesn't matter which hand it is, if you think of regular humand anatomy, and the arm is up like that the pinky is in front, not the back. So, that was my screw up! oops.
