Re: Inspired by Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends.
That was fun to look at.

Edger you are so... you. I can always pick your design out of the crowd.
Re: Inspired by Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends.
I realize this is just edgar's "style" but this seriously looks like a 3rd grader drew it.
Re: Inspired by Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends.
aw, why are they always on white, Edgar?
Re: Inspired by Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends.
I don't know Edgar, it needs some color... :s

Have you ever tried to do this? It's hard as helllllllll.
You have to fight yourself the whole time, because this "style" abandons all the conventions about form and figure and etc. etc. that you've gathered through the years.
So, mucho respecto for the third grader drawing, Paco.

I'm not saying I could do. I KNOW I can't.
But for a 3rd grader, they aren't really "trying" for a style, it's just how it turns out.
Re: Inspired by Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends.
I didn't even have to look to see who the artist was, I knew this was Edgar's work the second it loaded. I ADORE this, even if it is on white. I would buy it in a second. GMV!!!
Re: Inspired by Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends.
I want!!!!
Re: Inspired by Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends.
Love this one, hope it wins, I'd wear it for sure
I'm very fond of the lack of color, I have plenty of colorful shirts and not so many simple but lovely ones.

I bring to the table: Basquiat.
Re: Inspired by Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends.

Go, Edgar!

They aren't!

I disagree. Most 3rd graders don't include half the detail that are in Edgar's pieces, nor do they show unique wit and humor in what they draw. My mom works with elementary school children day in and day out... I have never seen 3rd grader projects that have this level of design to them.
Re: Inspired by Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends.
I love Foster's and I love Edgar so this design GMV!
Re: Inspired by Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends.
So far, one of the few I truly love. Pefect title for you too ;-). GMV.
Re: Inspired by Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends.
I agree, it needs some more color, feels a little incomplete to me. Probably because the show is so colorful, but the white shirt kinda dumbs down this great sketch.
Re: Inspired by Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends.
I love this, but the giant in the bottom right corner freaks me out a tad.
Re: Inspired by Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends.
Edgar,
Please set up your own shirt shop. Every week you have excellent, wonderfully imaginative, designs that I want to buy. Too often I am left holding my ten bucks for another day. Please help me spend my money on your shirts.
Love,
Tyler
Re: Inspired by Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends.
Oh Edgar, please marry me.
Then shower me in shirts.
Re: Inspired by Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends.
this is the only design i really like so far
Re: Inspired by Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends.
I love your art, but it never seems to make it into the fog. It's almost like art created by people suffering from schizophrenia.

These comments get more and more bizarre. I finally get it. This "Edgar", his art brings stuffed animals to life and makes candy rain from the sky while gently massaging your neck and singing your favorite tune. I'm going to try this style sometime since its claimed its quite difficult. And I'm sure everyone will hate on me for "mocking" you Edgar but its not. And I mean that seriously. I want to see how difficult it is and either not get the buzz or appreciate what you do more. So when you see an Edgar thumbnail you like and see "idroodit"... don't hate. Propose to me and such. Let me know what I did wrong etc. Call it imitation... the greatest form of flattery. Cheers.

I second this motion. I would buy and wear this in a hearbeat. Edgar don't waste your talent here where week after week your designs are not printed. Setting up your own shop would be a good move.

Since your mom is a teacher, you'd think she would have taught you the difference between "there" and "they're."
