This reminds me of the works of Edward Gorey, who always makes me smile. I've linked his name to the list of books he has illustrated, so that you can compare. Judging from the descriptions above, it looks like other people like the same things about this that I do.

It seems like "tree" theme is an opportunity for many cheesy, boring, or just plain incomprehensible designs. Yours avoids all this and manages to be interesting, attractive and original. Great job! Thanks for making it!
