Re: Fe-MAN

I think this design would look much better on a black shirt instead of a red but it looks good on the red also

Likely so, but without the red, the joke would be lost.

(What joke? Well, Fe is the chemical symbol for iron.)

Love it, Spyder!

Similar to what I did (http://shirt.woot.com/Derby/Entry.aspx?id=30989) - I was going to put bolts on my portal too and make it a bit more Mignola style but ran out of time. Nice work!

Fairly clever, but all-too reminscent of this fellow: http://www.topatoco.com/merchant.mvc?Screen=PROD&Store_Code=TO&Product_Code=WON-PORTHOLE&Category_Code=WON

That's the second time I've seen you post that link and I don't think it was really applicable either time - the shirt in that link is ugly, and both steampunk heart designs I've seen here have been well-drawn and had neat details.

The world is a business, Mr. Beale. It has been since man crawled out of the slime.

NICE! One of a kind!
Your depth of detail and realistic view of the meticulously detailed components is in a class be ITSELF! We have a winner ... I hope.

Do you have more art to share?
webatjmj2dotcomm if you do.

BRAVO, JIM+

Personally I don't understand why you're not blowing them away with this beautiful piece. Truly amazing !

Very nice. Usually I just check the the top ten or so shirts and see if there's anything that I like. I'm glad I scrolled down a little today. It might not have enough 'steam' to catch up to the top 4, but it's still the best of the bunch.
Good job.

Re: Fe-MAN

There have been alot of 'steam heart' submissions of varying quality submitted since the start of the contest, but this is the only one I have seen that I would buy. Looks great! I do think, however, it would look better on a black or brown shirt.
