Here we go...she's a SteamPunk Angel. I wanted to pay homage to the SteamPunk subculture. Those clever crafty people who create their own costumes and strut their stuff in true SteamPunk fashion.

Re: Steampunk Angel
this is great artwork..but I dare say I'd rather see it on a poster vs. a shirt..maybe it's the heather gray that's pushing my nuh uh button...

I really like the design, but I'm not too fond of the color of the shirt.

I like the design, and can even handle the shirt color, but the placement feels wrong to me.

I agree. Beautiful picture, well-representative of Steampunk, but the grey doesn't suit.

The art is beautiful but I do agree that the textured gray color kills it. Think about it - was there even heather gray around in the time whose elements you're trying to emulate?

hahah...if you think about it more, was there even a 100% cotton-made t-shirt back in the 19th century? like spanishmel said, the design is an homage to the steampunk culture itself which wiki tells me "came into prominence in the 1980s and early 1990s." so i bet they had heather grey t-shirts back then.
