I liked this better without the sky I think, but still very cute. The texture on the rhinos looks good.

I just made a similar comment on the main derby thread, but I'm not really feeling that new brown. It looks good on the bird, but it doesn't seem to fit on the book's pages or the rhinos' bellies.

And I like the color changes you made to keep the sky in there. It's a nice splash of color, even if the blue bird had to be sacrificed and turned into a brown bird.

Love this! I failed geometry so many times that I HAD to buy Geometry Blows and I would have to buy this too. I agree that the texture is great and nice job on the muted colors.

I like the artwork but I cannot imagine wearing this. The design doesn't make much sense (i.e., I don't understand why a bird is teaching geometry to rhinos.)

I will explain! Birds and rhinos have a symbiotic relationship. You always see birds perched on rhinos, eating the bugs off of them. I can only assume that the birds also teach them geometry. That seems logical, you know?

I get the symbiosis thing, but don't get why rhinos are doing geometry. However, I love the rhinos! They look exactly how I feel when trying to do math..

I think this is my fav of the Derby for two reasons: First, it's about the Pythagorean Theorem, and second, I too, am a victim of Boots' chick magnetism. ;)

The only thing throwing this off to me is the middle rhino's face, which seems a bit warped. Otherwise, it's pretty great.

I just love this shirt!!! I really want one of these. Well, maybe five or more of these. As a teacher who has taught math for 43 years to students from junior high through college, this shirt speaks to me and to the sentiment that so many of my struggling students have had. I just love teaching math.

Your love for illustrating your imaginative ideas really shows through. You have superior talent at taking a concept and encapsulating it into a marvelous piece of art. Kudos!
