Even though he didn't invent that style of hand, he's made it woot-famous, so this reminds me of thatrobert's Best Loser award.

Funny story, he had a contest to design it. I drew the BestLosers "award" hand...but as you said it's just a style. And certainly nothing to say belongs to anyone.
For the record it's the first thing I saw too.
