This design is a collaborative effort between the very awesome Crescent Debris and myself.

This is good guys, though my only complaint is that your shirt color is off. I pulled the image and did some color sampling to compare against woot approved shirt swatches, and this isn't their navy. This is lighter and has more of a green cast to it (and yes I have a calibrated monitor) You might wanna switch that out, I think you'd be able to recoup all your current votes, I'm just worried woot might yank it after it's too late to change Good job though!

You most likely color-sampled a highlight in the template. This template is used by most artists here. Other than the glow, it's unchanged from the original. And the color behind the artwork is straight from Woot's template.

I just checked it to the PSD template of shirt colors and your right, it's according to woot spec. I took the original sample against the Illustrator shirt template provided by woot and it indeed has a different color for navy then what's in the PSD file, which showed this piece as the wrong color. Great consistency in your official materials woot

Fantastic collab. The lineart is wonderful, and I love the illusion of depth here. Great colors, crescentdebris. They blend beautifully and create a really creepy atmosphere.

I just wanted to say thank you to everyone for all the support and nice comments. Definitely thanks to Drakxxx, this lineart was wicked. I'm really glad my coloring has added to it and not conflicted with it. I did some hatch work in my coloring to go with Drakxxx's style but also let my own style come through and it looks like it worked out. Its nice to hear praise and not "I love it... except for the color!" =) So thank you all! I'm glad I've done the Drakxxx Fans proud, and hopefully my own too.

This shirt is really fantastic. I love the illustration and the coloring. I'm not entirely sure that I would wear it, because I find it reeeeeaaaaally creepy and scary. (I cover my eyes for any scary part in a movie, so this theme is a little problematic for me to love!)

That said, I really hope this prints, because it deserves it for being so amazing!

Can anyone say Night on Bald Mountain? This reminds exactly of Disney's portrayal of Chernabog and his imps within Fantasia.

Actually what this reminds me more of is the Voodoo totems in the new Princess and the Frog (which I think are some of the most genuinely creepy baddies in any Disney film) The curtain thing really gives me that vibe.

This reminded me of both the previously mentioned Fantasia reference as well as some Little Nemo.
But I must say this is truly a match of talent like few others on here. The line work is, as always, dark and superb from Drakxxx, and the coloring from CrescentDebris really brings it up to a new level. I find myself staring at the detailed cuts in awe.
What really makes it most appealing is that I feel it would be quite wearable, day to day, and would make a fine print as well.

One of the few votes I've given out this derby, but by far the one I'm putting my money behind the most!

Hello CrescentDebris - I wanted to say how much I love this design - it fits the derby Perfectly and the illustration and coloration are spot on. I really don't know how you guys (talented artists) do what you do - I just know I'm incredibly jealous.

I did notice one thing though - I almost missed the little girl because she is so tiny and the same color as the demons(?). Maybe if her hair were a different color (yellow) she would have stood out a bit more. But regardless - you've got my vote and hopefully a spot in the top 3 come Thursday!!! Good luck!

I'm pretty certain that if I wear this shirt to bed, the monsters in the closet will be too afraid to nibble my toes when I sleep. Because only someone truly brave could wear this and close their eyes.

Seriously, though, I love the colors in this. And the little brown winged things are cute and horrible at the same time.

it reminds me of how I used to have nightmares if my closet door was open and monsters coming up from under the bed. To this day I can't sleep with the closet door open not because I'm scared of it. it just bothers me.. very very very well done you two.

Fantastically amazing and terrific job you two.

Drak, you could have easily composed some incredible epic monster for this derby, but you took things a whole step further with this design. There is so much concept to it, it's just phenomenal.

Crescent Debris, your colors are beautiful on this, and they compliment Drak's fantastic line work excellently.

I like how the little girl doesn't seem to mind all the creepy stuff going on in her room, it's her room, yeah there are nightmares in there, but they aren't really going to hurt her. She sleeps on.Magnifico. I'd love to see childrens books by you.

holy scaffolding I love this shirt. I don't know how this whole derby thing works, but I hope this will be available. I honestly love the whole nightmare theme and think that they should all be available, but THIS ONE...THIS ONE completely rocks.
