Re: results for home for the holidays
Oddly enough, my home city (village) is basically a triangle shape. Aside from the farmland surrounding, the neighborhood I grew up in makes a triangle of a 2 mile circumference.
Though this map suggests more roads than my city, my house would roughly be where the fourth marker down is.
I guess you can say this really hits home. :P

Geeky shirts = love.
Re: results for home for the holidays
I love this. I won't buy it though, people have enough trouble understanding my other Woot shirt using internet maps as a subject without getting a good, close look (you know, the "Bad Directions" shirt). I feel wearing this will yield more "Why are you wearing a Google Maps shirt?" questions, and less "Hey, nice Google Maps Christmas tree.".

I think this would have looked great on the kelly green tee. Very clever.

I actually hadn't realized it was a map joke at all for the first minute I looked at it, but rather just an intriguing, quasi-abstract way of designing a christmas tree. That it also fits the map thing just makes it cooler.
Re: results for home for the holidays
Man, I really like this... but I really can't wear this shade of green shirts. I know, I know, it's green because that's a commonly found color on maps... I may vote for it anyways but I couldn't get it.
Still, I love the concept. Nice job! :D
Thank you all for the support.
I thought the non-traditional green matched the design. Grass would have worked here too. Always easy to second guess yourself.

I havn't commented on too many this derby because I've been busy but I just wanted to say this was a nice design and you executed it well ![]()

What happened last week? Did your grandmother sneak in and take over your keyboards while your back was turned and vote for the safe "Home for the Holiday" t-shirt offerings that were posted last week? While smart, creative and cleaver designs like this one went unnoticed? KEEP YOUR GRADMAS AWAY FROM YOUR COMPUTERS ON VOTING DAYS!
