Collaboration with Midgerock. His line art reminded me of old school sci-fi comics, so I thought it would be fun to finish this with my version of a Moebius color scheme.

I think Od-roc did a fantastic job coloring.
I wonder if we would get the opportunity to do another design in the future. I'd be open to it. Od-roc has tons of experience in the industry which I would love to learn.
Too bad more people aren't diggin' the design this week.

I love the design and coloring. I don't know about other people but I don't really care for the choice of shirt color. The image itself is wonderful, but I think it looks a bit weird on asphalt. +1 anyways though because as I said, the image is wonderful. :D

If you ever plan on reworking this design, and don´t mind my suggestion, please change the skull. To me, it just seems something that it doesn´t fit with the rest. The type of lines are different, more "sketchy", and it has no shading, like it was "glued" after the illustration was finished.

I actually did rework it and resubbed it yesterday. Let me know what you think of that one. I think the reason it appears different is because the black lines of the skull are removed to make it appear in the glass dome.

Because of the color it doesn´t stand out so much, but I still think it should have thinner, more stylized lines to match the comics style of the illustration.

i prefer this design to the redone one.

if i may be so rude, altho i am not a professional, i would like to suggest a change in colours. perhaps change the hot pink to a deeper or pure red, optic yellow a deeper yellow, green metal to grayish blue or possibly gunmetal blue. change the shirt colour to black and extend the glow out a bit to give the characters' legs a little silhouette.

some great feedback but alas I wish we could resub with Od-roc recoloring. He did a great job but he has a number of prior commitments.

except for the glow, could you do some of the recoloring yourself, so that he wouldn't have to do much with it? just have od-roc send you the print ready, substitute the colours without changing any of the shapes, send back to him for glowy stuff or other minor edits.

Good piece and collab guys. I think I agree with what others ahve said though. If you could keep the basic coloring but maybe change out the tones on the green and pink and then put the skull in from your second one it would rock! +1

In the pre-derby thread I thought this was awesome. Looks really good now with some color! kudos!
