Re: MORE COWBELL!

Cow just wants to jam with his cowbell but the rest the pigs in the band are just not feelin' it! Gotsa have some more cowbell!

5 colors on brown.
the colors is what kicked my because I just couldn't find a happy color scheme until this one. I'm still not sure.
I hope people dig it and definitely open to all feedback, good or bad!
Thanks for the support!

I hope to have the detail link up tomorrow!

I like the artwork (and the color scheme definitely does work), but the androgynous nature of the bovine in question (beard *and* udders?) has me wondering a bit...

I love the color choices you've been making lately. I also like the look of your characters more when you shy away from the whited-out "Little Orphan Annie" circle eyes. Excellent work! +1

Well, I do understand cows are female, but my inspiration to have a guy with udders is the main character Otis from the Nickelodeon cartoon Back At The Barnyard where he is a male cow with udders.

So if there's a precedent then there it is.

I really appreciate that feedback. Because I have never heard the "little Annie Eyes" was turning people off. Definitely will memo that and stay away. Also I'm glad some are diggin' the color choices. With out feedback you never know.

The size and - um - erectness of the udders is giving me some trouble. Other than that...
Hey, didn't I see these guys at the Forum in 72?

Re: MORE COWBELL!

I love how it turned out. I'm sure the guys in the skit and the band would buy this shirt in an instant.

However, I feel for this audience, the characters need to be dumbed down as the joke probably flies by them. (clearly the animals are dressed and have the likeness of the actual band members)

However, if the pigs and cows had just been straight up pink pigs with guitars, and the cow had been black and white with the cowbell, I think it would be doing better on this stage.

Which puts you in the integrity of the artist debate... do what you like, or what you know will sell? I respect your artistic values and you GMV.

Hope what I said makes sense.
