Re: How it really worked

Here is one of those shirts that you'll never get bored of. It has so much going on that you'll always find something new and smile.

That's right, this shirt explains scientifically how cassette tapes worked. I know, I too feel bad for the unemployed miniature elves. But hey, most of them now work in the MP3 industry...

Hope you enjoy it :D

This design makes me unreasonably happy. So many details. It's just fun to look at.

Great use of lemon too, by the way. Such a maligned color, but done right it looks great.

I feel a strange urge to be the one to start off the 'oooh, concentric circles' comments :p

I want this so hard. It's a loving and complicated departure from the masses of phoenixes and penguins, and I hope I get a chance to buy it!

Simply brilliant and easily the most original entry in this derby. Hope this prints. I'm in for one if it does.

Niiice.

It's the elves I feel most sorry for in this digital generation. MP3 players are operated by tiny ghosts instead.

Glad to see some major slow-burn support for this. Even if it falls short this time, hopefully it will do well in the double-take or woot will give it consideration for an EC.

This looks like a albumn cover or something. Though not as technically phenomenal, it's a great idea.

Re: How it really worked

Sorry for the delay. I just created a small blog with my previous entries. I'll keep updating it.

Anyways, the top entry has a close-up of this shirt. The close-up is likely larger than if printed on a shirt. Assume it will look even better printed ;)

If you have any questions on what is going-on in a given part of the shirt, feel free to ask and/or speculate.

I love this. It is so refreshing to see something new. I have to tell you, I had an entry one time that had two faces on the shirt. Somebody actually told me that it was an unfortunate placement for a woman's shirt. I assumed she was talking about breasts. This is waaaay more obvious than mine ever was. I wanted to share just to prove that every criticism is not necessarily the voice of everyone. This shirt rocks and if anyone is bothered by the design, well they don't deserve to have one. This is artsy and beautiful and the details are much appreciated. I do hope that I am given the chance to purchase one. Thanks!

Thanks for the comment Cheryl. I did note that point, however for those wondering, if you look at the shirt, you'll see that there is actually no way for the concentric circles' placement to coincide with anything that would make a women uncomfortable wearing it. The circles are too high and close to the center of the shirt for that.

Hope this helps :D

I agree. The placement is fine.

Re: How it really worked

Aah, I need this shirt! I'm still convinced there are gnomes in my computer, making it run... When I was younger, I thought that SpellCheck worked because small men in the computer read along as you typed and drew a red line under anything not spelled right. Of course, I also thought that records worked because similar small gnomes ran out, saw what the label said and started singing. 'Cause, c'mon, there was no way that round piece of plastic actually had a song on it...

This is perfect, I'll probably find something new on it every time I wear it. GMV and I hope it wins!

This is the first t-shirt design on the "lemon" color that I've ever wanted to purchase! -:D I'm not even sure if I can pin down exactly what I like about it. I just think it's downright charming.

It kind of takes me back to my childhood. "Where's Waldo?" and "I Spy" come to mind. Anyway, too cool! I hope it places. I'd love to rock the yellow! -:D

I love this! Although I fear the placement of circular objects may be a bit off for a woman to get away with...

It's a shame this didn't print. Every week I view the shirts that made it to the fog and the ones I would actually purchase too often don't print because of cartoon penguins, turtles and bunnies. Really great job, this is my favorite of the derby.

I'm happy I got HM for this shirt. It's my second shirt that ends-up in the fog but doesn't print.

Most of all though, I design for fun and love for designing, so your comments are the ones that truly make me happy.

Thank you so-much for the support, and enjoying/voting for my designs.

See you all at the next Double-Take with this shirt.
