This is GREAT! I mean I don't know how to read, but I REALLY like this. I hope it wins!

The best defense is a good offense! She should be hurling the book THROUGH the tv screen to really drive home her point...haha j/k

Keep up the nice work! GMV as usual =)

This is great. I really like the coloring-book type quality it has. A little rough around the edges, but still very well executed. The way the girl is stylized gives this a nice touch too. Plus, the message is an awesome one.

I'll keep submitting until I win or get really bored or throw my horrible scanner out the window

Im glad you like the style! I'm working on making my designs either smoother or more detailed.
As far as concept goes, its actually really hard to come up with the simple, witty concepts that win most of the time. I dunno if how I can practice getting better at that.

Everyone post more process videos!

Well you know the old saying, I'm sure...

"The pencil-laser is mightier than the robot...with a sword"

...or something like that =P

Stick with option 1. Please? =)
I really enjoy your style and look forward to seeing your entries each derby...keep up the great work! You'll print soon enough, I'm sure! And then I can wait till the day AFTER you print to buy it and help fund that new scanner =D haha

Who knows where inspiration comes from? I'm not sure it's really something you can practice, so much as it's something you either have or don't. And, in my humble opinion, you HAVE IT! Yeah, I guess you could get "artist's block" from time to time, but your designs are always very creative and well-thought-out from what I've seen. Keep it up =)

Oh I'll keep on with it, don't worry. I just want to work on simplifying my ideas so they are clearer, but I'm glad some people do understand the concepts.

I will get a new scanner as soon as possible, mine is really ridiculous. It randomly scans things in really tiny and crooked, then sometimes it just turns off for no reason. I'm beginning to think it was made as a practical joke for Mac users.
