I was worried we'd have three weeks in a row with no winner...
Make sure your address is up to date and we'll send you your very own Woot screaming/flying monkey!
Re: Dark Continent
I really like this design although I get the feeling there is some reference I don't get. Also, why did you win the monkey prize? Or rather how does one win it?

Each derby, they choose a certain obscure thing, and the first person to post a design with that thing in it gets a screaming monkey.

I like the shirt, but is the name racist?

Nope.
It was named the "Dark Continent" by 19th Century Europeans because most of the map, itself, was "dark" (unexplored).

Great design! We have missionaries who go to Africa and I think they would love this shirt! Ido!

Sweet! - thanks :-)
Re: Dark Continent
I don't think they have Bactrian (two hump) Camels in Africa... Not to split hairs! I love the design regardless ![]()
Re: Dark Continent
don't take this too personally, because as the dromedary camel is my favorite animal I have to point out that the camel you have on your shirt with two humps is bactrian and native to Asia. It is the one humped dromedary that is African.
