Because poems aren't restricted to serious literature! I think most everyone knows about Little Miss Muffet, but really, what has this gentlemanly spider done to deserve such a reaction? He seems dashing to me!

Along came the Planters Peanut and sat down beside her,
and frightened Ms. Muffet away.

Love the drawing, but I'd have to think about it before buying. This color is not my friend.

Jeeeeeez! Everything about this is awesome! I love the styling of Miss Muffet! It makes me wanna try some new stuff! (I don't do shirts but I do draw) I'm going to have to keep an eye on your future entries because this is full of win!

There are only a couple things that maybe could have helped you along. While I personaly love the color choice and don't mind wearing it many wooters prefer something darker so you might have gotten more votes that way. But there's still time I really do love your design and I hope it moves up. +1 for me!

It's nice to know I'm not the only one that had that passing thought...

I'm just hanging out, really.

Re: Little Miss Muffet

Eh, I know she's supposed to be frightened but somehow her expression My wonderful childhood has also led me to envision this particular poem in shades of other colors, like blue not pink. Nice attempt though.

I think I have to have this.

Re: Little Miss Muffet

This shirt made me laugh aloud! The expression is awesomely-drawn, and it's refreshing to see a drawing with detail.

I read the negative (or disappointed?) comments on the color, and I disagree: the pale pink helps draw your attention to the more interactive part of the design, in which you see her expression, and her line of sight leads you to the spider, both of which have the brighter yellow to help point them out.

In any case, I've noticed that while it's commented that darker colors get more votes and whatnot, I see lighter colors being worn every day, especially with spring and summer incoming. For some reason there's also a trend to have really dark designs on dark colors, and I don't see how that would help get votes, either (ignoring the screen differences and light-to-pigment).

Anyway, your design is AWESOME and I hope it wins! I would be honored to wear it. =D

Re: Little Miss Muffet

Holy great feedback, batman!

Seriously, we appreciate everyone's comments, so thank you. To address the color issues some have raised: We actually had a recolor of this on the dark brown, and it just didn't quite work right. Switching to the cream allowed Nox (the artist half of our Team of Doom) to wash out the colors and give a more vintagey feel. Unfortunately, I'm not sure where the pink feeling is coming from since the colors are mostly washed out beiges. Either way, we did know that the shirt choice would be controversial, but we were the ones who had to hear Miss Muffet throw a hissy fit until she got her, you know.

Thanks to everyone who's voted too. This was our first derby entry and we've learned a lot. But more than that, we've had a BLAST watching our design move up in the voting. It's been so exciting - so thanks to everyone who voted for us! You've provided endless entertainment for the last couple of days! Look out for us, there's more to come!
