Kind of reminds me of episodes from the show "Outer Limits". The guy that is responsible for the demise of Earth usually ends up witnessing the consequences of his catastrophic actions from a distant location.

I have to agree. It this prints and I'm broke (most likely as all the good ones print when I'm broke) I think I will have to go donate plasma to get the cash to order this.

Stunning and breathtaking. Really, an entire story and history in a simple image. Not to sound like an ultra-right Christian, but I don't think the Earth will end this way - but even so - I think any human that looks at this has a gut-wrenching feeling of species death. I think it is almost the same feeling you would have the moment before you were sucked through a black hole. Well done.
