Up hasn't slept in days,
Down suffers from malaise.
Charm has a magic buzz.
Strange is as strange does.
Top is the king of the hill.
Bottom crashed; he's feeling ill.

5. I did it in Illustrator. The shadows and highlights are percentages of the main colors. There would be a white underbase under the quarks.

Love it, but the problem with percentages in silkscreen is that it can't be done without bitmapping the original color, allowing the shirt color to come through. At least that's my experience with silkscreen. I'm afraid that the additional 3 colors is going to get you rejected. I do like the concept and execution. I would much prefer these adorable faces over the cosmic swirly crud that seems to be dominating this derby. Sorry...thought you should know.

The percentage is just output as a halftone. Woot does it on their end. There would be a white underbase below the main body color so the highlight isn't shirt color. The shadow is printed over the body color. At least that's how I would do it in my shop.

I can't look at this design without hearing Hank Green's song "Strange Charm" in my head.

Oh, I never heard that song, but I fell into This Is Not Tom in a big way. Thanks for sharing!

Oh, that would be cool to know if they indeed did that. That really opens up new possibilities! Thanks! ![]()
