Re: Tempus (Gear-y Potter v.2)

So - after some discussion w/ the family, I decided to clean this up a bit, make it smaller on the shirt, and remove the "busy-ness" of the mascots, etc.

I think it would be too small as a Pocket cover, but it's not as overwhelming this time around.

I agree that the other design was too large for the shirt but the mascots were well done. This version loses all visual appeal. I don't see the connection to Harry Potter either. It's obviously time related but I just see a bunch of gears and an hourglass.

I'm pretty sure the hourglass is a time-turner, from Prisoner of Azkaban and some of the other books. And the colors are the house colors of Hogwarts.

I totally still see the Potter-ness of it, but it is more subtle. I like this version better, not as busy, and since the Potter connection is less apparent if might connect better with non-fans and Steampunkers.

Whoops, sorry, I forgot to come back and look again until now. I agree that it would be too small as a pocket cover, and I'll be voting for both versions, I like them both, but I just don't wear graphics that big so I wouldn't buy it. I *would* buy it as a patch, and I would also buy it if it were on the back of a hoodie... holy jeebler, I would buy it in a second if it were on the back of a hoodie. I just had to get rid of one that I loved dearly that was falling to shreds that had a moose on the back. This would be a nice replacement. Anyway, I love both designs, just not something I personally would wear on the front of a t-shirt.
