Re: Wishful Thinking
Some dreams seem to be always just out of reach.
Edit: Created a version without the thought bubble for those who prefer not to see what someone is thinking.

Wearing this to the gym, baby!

Re: Wishful Thinking
LOL this is fantastic. Great job on the T-Rex and his giant head. His muscle man pose wish cracks me up.
Re: Wishful Thinking
Excellent! Great design, Pixel! Easy to get the joke right away, much to the chagrin of poor T-Rex. ^^; Awesome, hope this makes its way to the top!
Re: Wishful Thinking
This is an inspiring design; Simple, funny, and smart.
Re: Wishful Thinking
Thanks for all the kind words and votes that got the t-rex into the fog so quickly. Blurry thought bubbles are his thing so he's no stranger to fogs.
Re: Wishful Thinking
haha you really nailed the pose here for maximum comedic effect.
So funny!! +1
i'd vote for this without the thought bubble. i feel like the fact that he can't reach it gets across that he wishes he had longer arms on its own. and the design of just the t-rex and the lamp looks really nicely laid out and the bubble looks kind of crammed in there.
wrong place, wrong time.oops
Re: Wishful Thinking
This is the most clever, funny shirt in the derby IMO. Really awesome job!![]()

I agree! Every time I see it I smile! I have some designs entered too, but I really feel that this one is the best and most original!

I totally agree (though I will be voting for this anyway, as it makes me laugh). I think it's actually funnier without the thought bubble, because what he wishes for isn't relevant; just the fact that he can't reach the lamp is funny enough!
Re: Wishful Thinking
So I can't buy this one? I soooo want it! I had shoulder surgery 6 weeks ago and have a "t-Rex" arm because I have to keep it close to my body while it heals. I'm not allowed to extend it out for another 6 weeks, so this design totally epitomizes my situation. =-)

Not yet, this is a contest and this one is somewhere in the top 9. Friday at midnight the # 1 vote getter will print, so tune in then to find out! Saturday and Sunday are editor's choice picks from this derby and I think this one has a solid shot at being picked. It's well drawn and hilarious.
Oh my gosh, this is SO AWESOME. It reminds me of the quote (Sorry if I mess it up a little) "My head is really really big, and my arms are really really short, and I don't think you've thought this plan through.... Master."
