It's just their philosophy, not a personal affront.
My signature used to say "those who celebrate mediocrity are worse than those who create it" (or something), now it just says...

The decline in votes for WOOT shirts in the derby is shocking..... I really don't think we need to deter any voters. let them vote and hopefully they will buy.
