Re: Food of the Future

A Thanksgiving Day collaboration with my wife - who improved this joke and the overall design amazingly, and caused all to laugh yesterday.

Brilliant! This is the only one so far this week that has made me literally laugh out loud. And the design is so cool, as well.

+100!

I love the "futuristic diner" look to the logo - and the truth of the matter. This IS the food of the future, so let's celebrate the fact! I agree with others... this is indeed brilliant.

Aren't leftovers, by definition, the food of the past?

I don't know about you, but I tend to eat leftovers in the future, after the meal in which they were fresh. But that's just me ;-)

But the food that you're eating the next day came from the day before, ergo the past.

Today it is "leftovers" - tomorrow (or later) it is "food" (regardless of when it was originally prepared).

I only eat my food in the present.

Ah, in the past they weren't "leftovers." That's the beauty of the concept. (after dinner last night, I placed an extra serving left from our meal in a tupperware dish, and my husband gladly brought this to work in his lunch bag today. So yesterday, it was the food of the future...)

I get the joke of the shirt, in fact, I voted for the shirt. I was just being funny. Or at least trying to be funny. Apparently it didn't take.

Very cool! A nice design and a very funny (and true) joke. And no stupid anthromorphic fruits/veggies/cookies with kawaii faces slapped on them.
