Kharma, you are showing two different shirt colors. Which will it be? Royal or Navy?

I thought you couldn't use clip art?

The trees, animals, and buildings, etc. come from the AllSilhouettes.com vector clip art collections.

For example, the little giraffe comes from this collection: http://all-silhouettes.com/free-vector-animals/ and the big giraffe comes from this collection: http://all-silhouettes.com/vector-african-animals/ And you can see some of the trees come from this one: http://all-silhouettes.com/vector-trees-2/

Same argument as your other shirt; this has nothing to do with "N." It's a roller coaster.

"If drinking is bitter, change yourself to wine." -Rainer Maria Rilke

"Champagne is a very kind and friendly thing on a rainy night." -Isak Dinesen

yes that's right your links are correct.I guess that if it has not been rejected it's because i use vector librairies in a creative way and i don't base the design on it.This one was made at the same time that my first print on shirtwoot, Astral Ark.By reading your comment i have the feeling it was easy to achieve this, just had to download a couple of vector and smash it on a canvas, without thinking of it.So easy and fast.It was not the case, there are a lot of little details and scenes.I had to create a set of vector brush to complete the spatial gate, and tested a lot of stuff before beiing happy of the results. Then i had to fix details to keep it logical , in perspective, balance , shape, in a word, something realistic. So yes you're right i was lazy after 3 days on it, and used vector librairies for the animals, the trees, some buildings, characters and helicopters.

I know it's not as easy as it looks. I challenge anyone to do a shirt in the "kharmazero style". My attempt looked terrible. I've found my own way of doing a pleasing abstract composition, but composition is the key word to this style. Kharma is clearly talented in that regard.

It is a bit frustrating how the rules are enforced though. As Kharma said, he "uses vector libraries in a creative way and doesn't base the design on it". Maybe that's why he doesn't get rejected, while lyonscc gets raked over the coals. Or maybe if it's suspected the artist could have drawn it, but didn't, it'll pass. It would be nice to have a standard in writing.

Thanks Orabbit, about clearer rules about use of vector , why not ,i won't anyway change my way of working, if i need vector librairies i will use it.During the greece derby 3 subs have been rejected for use of photos( these were reworks of previously accepted designs on shirtwoot, and one of them had a HM).I redraw them, and visibly a lot of wooters didn't noticed the difference ;-))

I doubt that the reason these images are allowed has much to do with the difficulty of or effort involved in incorporating them into a design.

I think you're only prohibited from using anything that would infringe upon someone else's copyright or intellectual property rights. The images from that website are explicitly available for others to use, so their use doesn't violate anyone's rights.

Unlike these, many images posted to the web are protected, and that's why designs that use them are rejected.
