Derby #304: White On Black

White Nautilus

Looks like you have greys here. You'll need to convert to all white ink halftones.

Re: White Nautilus

I offer here an imperfect expression of perfection. Thanks for looking.

Might as well have a signature now since I have something to put into it.

Re: White Nautilus

I did not use greys. I only varied the opacity of the white. Is that not permitted?

Can anyone answer that or tell me where at Woot I can best write to ask about it?

Sorry, I don't know anything about half-tones, so maybe I'm out this time.

Hey - it takes awhile to figure out all the ropes, what gets things rejected, etc.

In this particular case, you need to convert your opacities into halftones. There are some good explanations on how to do this in the Artist's Resources in the "Community" link near the top of the page...

Thanks for the info. I suppose I should have had everything rejected all along, but there were never enough non-halftone opacities to be noticed. That really deflates my mood. Guess I'll have to figure out the halftone thing.

I've only really gotten into drawing digitally since I got my first tablet last Christmas, and have been learning something new almost daily.

Thanks again for your kind reply, and take care.
