Sometimes it’s boring just being cuddly. Sometimes you gotta just cut loose, split a beer, and let a friend play with your squeeze box. That’s the nice thing about having a bear as a buddy. They like to be alone a lot, sure, but when they come out of the cave they’re always up for some fun. Bears are the traveling salesmen of the wild; they have a territory they have to cover. One day you’ll see them dancing happily beside your cabin, the next you’ll hear they’re snoring on some stranger’s porch, way on the other side of the lake. Don’t take it personally. That’s just what bears like to do. It doesn’t mean they aren’t loyal. They’ll never forget their friends. And as you can see, they certainly do have cute noses.
