It was a wonderful time growing up young in the 1970's. There was a scandal involving the White House due to political battles and an unpopular war. Gas prices were out of control and some people began to worry about losing their houses. And everyone had at least one shirt with a funny saying on the front. "I'm With Stupid" or "I'm Just A Human Bean" or "Sit On It!". Some people might point to market factors or political climates or new inventions or just plain coincidence as the reason we were so prosperous in the 1990s, but really, the reason was the generation that learned to read by staring at the chests of strangers. Wouldn't you like your exploits to be spoofed in the pop culture of the next generation too?

Top Comments are discussion forum posts we have deemed worthy of your time. Listen, we get a lot of comments, and most of the time, it's pretty forgettable stuff; but sometimes you rise to the top like butterfat in milk. We don't recommend you base your self-worth on how often we feature your comments, but we don't expressly forbid it either.
