I've been meaning to go to Noah's Grill for a while, so last night, when me and my friends were looking for something to do, I was like, "Let's try it"!
The dinner started off kinda weird. Went in a group of three, but the hostess made one of us eat at a different table with a stranger because they have some policy where they only allow parties of two. Pretty lame, but I wasn't gonna let it ruin things!
Inside, the set up was okay. Kinda quaint and rustic, and everything was in keeping with the boat theme. My only real complaint was that it was SUPER CRAMMED! We would've tried to get a seat on the deck but there was a pretty big storm coming, so we opted to eat in the bar.
Noah actually came out of the kitchen and chatted with us about how we were enjoying our meals. It was nice of him, sure, but honestly he kinda came off sorta self-righteous and preachy. It was like, "We don't care why you opened your restaurant; we just want to eat, dude."
Overall, the meal was good. Food tasted very fresh, like they had kept their livestock right in the back - LOL! And there were a lot of exotic things to choose (grilled zebra???). Still, the atmosphere and the service knocked it down from a 4 or 5 star experience.
NOTE: the menu was pretty much all meat, so if you're looking for a place to bring your vegetarian friend, skip Noah's Grill.
