3rd place in Derby #158: Physics, with 730 votes!

I’m pretty used to students doodling on assignments and in their notebooks, but David’s drawings have taken a pretty morbid turn lately and to be honest I’m a little concerned. Well, as you can see with this most recent sketch he left on his Science assignment, he seems to be a little obsessed with radiation and nuclear weapons.

No. No we haven’t been studying radiation.

Well he recently commented on, and I’m quoting here, “the morbid anniversary of mankind’s inhumanity.”

Yes ma’am, I agree, it’s not really language I see from a lot of nine-year-olds. I have to wonder if maybe he’s watching a lot of television?
