we’re tired of writing about star wars, so here’s a recipe for banana bread

ingredients

1 cup granulated sugar

2 eggs

1 stick unsalted butter (softened)

3 overripe bananas

1 tablespoon milk

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1 teaspoon cinnamon

2 cups all-purpose flour

1 teaspoon baking soda

1 teaspoon baking powder

1 teaspoon salt

Preheat oven at 325 degrees. Grease a 9x5x3 inch loaf pan.

Cream together sugar and butter in a large mixing bowl. Add the eggs one at a time, beating and incorporating well. In a separate bowl, mash the bananas and mix in the flour, cinnamon, and vanilla. Add mixture to the large bowl. Mix in flour, baking soda, and baking powder, and salt. Pour batter into the pan. Bake approximately 60 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean. Let cool before slicing.
