Princess Ladybug had come too far to turn back. Her house was on fire. Her children were gone. And she had seen the faces of those who were responsible.
They said he was the best in his field. The little bugs ran from him in terror. The storytellers trembled as they recounted how he gripped his victims and bit off their heads. They said once, he even killed a bluebird. The little village on the leaf begged her not to go. “Stay with us,” they offered. “Stay with us and learn to live again.” And the shy eyes of the widowed bumblebee made her feel that perhaps she even could. But Princess Ladybug had come too far to turn back.
She had beaten Lord Waterbeetle at the Macrocheira Falls and forced him to give name to his accomplices. She had beaten the hundred hands of Lady Centipede in that stinking basement lair and taken from her the key to Fortress Rotting Log. There she had overcome, through force of will, the once-proud Kabutomushi. At times he seemed almost ready to die, as though he was prepared to give up his life so that he might atone for his past. From his carapace, she took the map. This map that led her to where she stood now, blade in hand, her mind clear, the final page of her destiny about to be written.
This shirt was designed by: the woman known only as… sokowa. You are a woman, aren’t you, sokowa? It’s so hard to tell for sure these days. We make mistakes in bars all the time. It’s nothing personal, really.
Wear this shirt: if you died yesterday, and arose a spirit, a ghost, a being unafraid of man, with naught but a single purpose.
Don’t wear this shirt: if that purpose is “to change the oil on my SUV”. Go get some coveralls, for Heaven’s sake! What kind of a mechanic are you?
This shirt tells the world: “What? You!”
We call this color: In all sizes, life/Nature’s nature is to fight/This shirt here is Grass.
