First, they wanted our information. Gladly, we obliged. Finding interesting things, people, and places on the Internet quickly is something we wanted, after all.

Then, they asked for our maps. “Sure, we said. Being able to locate businesses and residences with ease would be swell and so efficient."

But they didn’t stop. Next, they wanted our emails, our documents, our stock information, our phones. “We only want to help you,” they said. “We only want to make things easy for YOU.” And we believed them. Fell for it hook, line, and search engine.

We should’ve seen it coming. SkyNET? Nuclear war? Environmental destruction? No. Instead, it was our wise and powerful Wizards of G. And we were powerless to stop them.
