Breaking: long standing political rivals, Apple and Orange have agreed to put their differences aside.

In an attempt to solve the country’s current economic woes, Apple and Orange have agreed to sit down and genuinely work on a plan that will please members of both parties.

Despite their seemingly sincere desire to compromise, many pundits remain skeptical. Who can forget earlier this year when Apple remarked that Orange was the “bitter old tart of the political world”? Or when Apple stated that his opponent ”...would love to squeeze every last drop of wealth out of the American people with his proposed tax hikes”? Orange, meanwhile, has been no less vocal. After Apple effectively crushed the Healthcare Reform Initiative, Orange told the media, “An apple today, certainly kept the doctors away… from treating patients in need!”

Still, if they hold true to their promise, it could provide the turning point that the United States desperately need to make the current economic crisis a thing of the past. More on this as it develops.
