Like filling in circles on the SAT. Is that why we never got into a college?

Part of being an artist is creating where there is nothing. To look at a field of corn and see a song, or to find the inspiration for a romantic comedy in the last three Rice Krispies.

And then there’s the rest of us. Those of us who forget to carry a notebook when we go to the doctor’s office. Those of us who end up doodling on the inside of a legal sized envelope just to kill time on the bus. Those of us who feel happy if no one whispers “Is that a dog or a cow?”

For us, inspiration comes at random, if it ever comes at all. And our art is a more simple sort of art. But does that make it any less beautiful? Or just more efficient?

Wear this shirt: if you know how to balance a pen on the very tip without using your hands. That’s really a talent.

Don’t wear this shirt: if you’re blue/white color blind. Actually, wait, that could be really cool if you give it to somebody else and have them stand in front of a white wall. You’d be all “hey, where’d your torso go?” and… oh, that’s not how it works?

This shirt tells the world: “Aw, you didn’t draw a monkey in the trunk.”
