All was quiet in the city of Mrmacgregorsgarden. The citizens went about their quiet lives, blissful and unaware of the strange experiments their government was performing out in the harbor. But it would be these experiments that would go… too far.

General Daucus was the one who gave the order. It was he who demanded that the greatest predator the species had ever known be placed into the bombardment chamber. General Daucus was from a different generation, a generation that thought science was a tool to be used against the enemy… rather than a power to be feared, and possibly worshipped blindly.

The chamber shattered, first with a cry much like that of a baby, and then with a real honest-to-God shattering. General Daucus was the first to go, crushed… in the monster’s strong right hand.

And so, the people of Mrmacgregorsgarden looked up, surprised, afraid, and not knowing where to turn, and from their orange lips came a silent prayer… but the monster knew only hunger.
