The minister is just closing the book. He says something and Carl and Elaine kiss.

He puts his hands up against the glass and slumps. The minister shakes hands with Carl, then takes Elaine’s hand. The ORGAN music starts to THUNDER.

(straightening)

He moves to the center of the window and FIGURES IT WOULDN’T HAVE WORKED OUT ANYWAY AND DECIDES TO MOVE ON begins to POUND on the glass.
