I don’t really know the date any more…

It’s not like I could say it’s June or anything. I mean, I’m on a different planet in a different solar system orbiting a completely different star. Somehow the traditional Gregorian calendar just doesn’t apply.

Anyway, this Unobtanium Mining gig is for the birds. It seems like every living thing on this planet exists solely to try and kill you. Like today, we heard the locals talking about these hedgehog things. “Don’t cut down those trees, you’ll disturb the great and mysterious hedgehog” or whatever. I thought for sure a hedgehog was no big deal so I’m all “Let’s do this!”

Turns out, a Pandoran Hedgehog is an 80-feet tall mass of rodent-mixed-with-trees. And, of course, it’s freaking carnivorous. And easily-angered. So I spent the rest of the day running and hiding in the forest where EVERYTHING ELSE is alive and deadly. I tell you what, if I didn’t get health benefits I’d be out of here.

The good news is they decided not to cut down that stretch of forest, so tomorrow I’m supposed to lead a new expedition down to Flaming DeathBadger Valley.

Hopefully it goes a little more smoothly.
