3rd place in Derby #108: Architecture, with 717 votes!

We’ve often wondered what became of that weird kid from pre-school, Harold. He was one of the early “taggers,” always scrawling all over walls and floors with a purple crayon. That was kind of his signature, the purple color. He must have had dozens of those crayons, because he made really large-scale drawings and never seemed to have to resort to another color.

Well, turns out he’s a city planner now. He works in a different medium—it’s like a green light-pen or something—but he’s still using the same skills he refined as a round-headed four-year-old in footie pajamas. It sounds like he’s become a real success, which is good, because maybe now he can reimburse our hometown school system, parks department, housing authority and city hall for the expense of cleaning up his copious graffiti.
