do you ever think about all the rabbits culturally thrust in front of us FROM BIRTH? there’s the one who eats that farmer’s plants. the one in a challenging relationship with winnie the pooh. the one who’s definitely a vampire. the one with a punctuality problem.

they want us buying breakfast cereal, chocolate milk, sugary eggs, and batteries. they break into our house to give us candy. they show us the value of moving slowly. they grow antlers and generate revenue for taxidermists. now, i’m not gonna question the sincerity of these glorified rodents, but i’m just wondering how well we know them. we’re giving them the spotlight, but at what cost? we need an open dialogue with the rabbits. i am happy to moderate. happy. to.
