Sure, that’s how it always starts. You get a clean house. Then some hungry mice appear, running away from a system that kicked them out. Soon they have their own place, and a cat shows up. So do they back down? No! They make a giant mouse robot and kill the cat. And then what happens next week? Twenty cats in a tank come smashing through the wall. And the mice build bombers and the cats go to outer space and then it’s the future and the Time Dogs are attacking and suddenly the Magna Carta was written about hamsters. Wasn’t abiogenesis so much easier than evolution?
