We know what you might be thinking, but trust us: this is not another Cookie Monster shirt. First of all, that’s not even the Cookie Monster there on the left-hand side of the image. It’s a blue cocopeanut – a crossbreed of a peanut and a coconut. What you probably think is the Cookie Monster’s arm is actually a scarf, which, confusingly enough, just happens to be the same color and texture as the blue cocopeanut. And those aren’t eyeballs, either; they’re eggs.
Now, you’re probably thinking, what’s with the animal crackers? Well, they’re actually not animal crackers. They’re wooden animal statues. See the holes in them? Those’re bullet holes. Clearly this is a safari-themed shooting range. So what does this shirt even mean then? Simple, while some people are busy gunning down another species for fun, others will trust something as strange as a blue cocopeanut wearing a scarf with their babies. And doesn’t that just sum up this zany thing called life?
No? Well, we tried.
Wear this shirt: if you’re a chip philanthropist, because that’s the opposite of a cookie monster, and this shirt is definitely not about the Cookie Monster.
Don’t wear this shirt: to the 15th annual Cookie Monster Shirt Festival in Columbus, Ohio. You will look very out-of-place.
This shirt tells the world: “I am willing to buy an interesting shirt that makes absolutely no reference to an iconic children’s program.”
We call this color: um… well… Okay fine, we give up. Nom nom nom nom royal blue. There! ARE YOU HAPPY NOW???
