Hey, what’s got six wings, two tires, and lots of little tiny lines? No points for guessing it’s this angelic grotesque, ascending toward the top of your browser window like something out of Henry Darger’s personal Torah. It should properly be called a seraph, on accounta it’s singular and all, but wouldn’t you agree that “seraphim” has more ponderous Old Testament flavor? We hope this design’s disquieting surrealism leads some paranoid religious nuts to conclude that Shirt.Woot is a Procter-and-Gamble-style occult enterprise, followed by decades of rumor and denial. We can dream, can’t we?
