There are still people out there—you might call them Luddites or Traditionalists, depending on how sympathetic you are to them—who feel that truly profound and moving art isn’t made digitally. Or, if it is, then only in the sense that “digitally” is understood to mean “with your fingers.” But isn’t the computer just a tool? Once upon a time lithography was a new technology. Does anyone doubt the existence of fine art lithographs?

No, great artworks can definitely be made by computer. And we should know. We used to spend hours drawing pictures of Batman on an Apple IIGS.
