When you’re hungry, truly hungry, it’s all you can think about. Your hunger becomes an idea so dense that nothing can escape. Couches look like ice cream. Cars look like steaks. Your best friend suddenly turns into a talking carrot. Yeah, that’s kinda awesome to see, but who can you tell? You can’t tell anybody because you’re too busy salting him and drooling like in the cartoons.

Hunger is a singularity that cannot be escaped. But c’mon, there’s no need to overdo it. At least pass on the Hawking radiation, they’re nothing but empty calories. That stuff’ll kill you.
