Folks don’t believe me when I tell ‘em. I say “you wouldn’t’ve believed the size of ‘im.” And they say “try me.” And I tell ‘em how big ‘e was, and they just shake their heads. One guy actually says to me “I never, ever heard of one bein’ that size.” Well, call the papers! If you ain’t heard of it, it must not be possible, huh?

I know, I know, it sounds incredible, but I seen it with my own eyes. Even had the sucker up to my house for a while. And you can think I’m lyin’, or exaggeratin’, or maybe that I’m just plumb mistaken, but I’m tellin’ you—whether you believe me or not—that it was this big from nose to tail.
