Hey, we’re not knocking our niche. We know geeky pop-culture references are where it’s at for us and we thank you for keeping the heat on in our apartments. It’s just that being the pragmatic, forward-thinking business tycoons we are, we can’t help but wonder what the future holds.
Geekdom is cool, now. It has been for awhile. And there are plenty of web sites, retailers, blogs, movies, and books catering/pandering to that fact. Which is great, especially for us, but we’re starting to worry about the inevitable backlash.
See, Americans love an underdog. Our culture is filled with stories of the little guy rising up to put a licking on the establishment. But once you rise to success you’re on a pretty short timer until the people get sick of you sitting at the top. Not only do they stop rooting for your success, they start actively trying to tear you down. Don’t believe us? Look at the New England Patriots, Google, Apple, or the US Government in world affairs.
Pretty soon people will be clamoring for the newest, greatest shirt designs. Geek will be out. Sports logos and ICP designs will be in. And then we’ll all have nothing left to wear.
Wear this shirt: While you can. Soon the non-meek will inherit the earth!
Don’t wear this shirt: To a football game. People are going to think it’s one of those cheapo knockoff jerseys.
This shirt tells the world: “I have Wislawa Szymborska’s poem memorized to 144 characters.”
We call this color: Asphaltedes’ Constant
Our graphic tees are made for every day that you need to get shirt done! Seriously, our t-shirts have been a graphic tee loving enthusiast's favorite since 2007. Our shirts are printed in the USA and every time you buy a shirt, one of our talented artists gets paid!
