I really like this design. Not really a fan of black shirts but I don't think this design could go on any other color. this needs to be voted for just cause it is so darn cool. I really want this it is sooooo cool!

Try redoing your sig and take out any hard returns, just make it all one line of code. Or leave one space in between each design if you want a space there.

I don't know about the front left leg of the horse or the scythe because they look as though they are filled in, not lines. Good artwork though. Hopefully w00t doesn't mind it.

This could be the cover. Well without the Unicorn part, but definitly the whole rider and horse part.

Great design. I have not bought a shirt in about two months but this one would be worth staying up late to purchase. Hopefully, it will be in the top three.

And as far as the legs being filled in , I would say the artist just used cherubic lines.

It should be ok...the Derby descriptions says you have to be able to see the between the lines, and the black is showing between the lines on both of those.

I agree, the artwork is absolutely stunning, the cross-hatching amazing. I'm very impressed, but I'm not into death-themed wear either, although I think this will be a very popular design.

Eh...part of the unicorn looks like dots, and part of it looks like fill....I don't really see how it completely fits the theme.

Well I've only been a member for a few months, but this is my favorite one since then and I check every day. Oh, and it's pronounced "Bump Ass"... because that's my actual name.

Wooord! I got mine today too!

I have to say, if I did it all over again, I would not have chosen heather gray. I meant for one of the grays to be shirt color, that way the ink coverage wouldnt be so much. This mother is ALOT of ink, which means on a really hot day, it wont be so breezy in the chest area. Thankfully, its a lightweight shirt, not a 6.1oz I dont think. More like 4.3 or similar. Im impressed at the ability for them to print the small details. Woot did a good job.

BTW, technical stuff... the outline/line art was 3px pencil.
End image was index with 3 total colors excluding shirt color. (essentially a gif)

Anyways. Thanks for posting the picture. Im too lazy to take one.

Why did you get your copy so late? You did a fabulous job on the design and I think woot did an excellent job with the print. (I believe I commented already under the actual shirt thread.) My husband wore his the other day and the large print area looked great on him. I'll have to keep in mind what you said about the hot summer days...maybe layering it with a camisole would work well.

Well, for what it's worth, I don't think it feels as heavy as many other woot shirts I've got. I thought the grey ink that matched the heather worked well, oddly enough (I am not usually a fan of heather). No problem on the pics, I like helpin people understand what they are buyin.

Yeah, first they took mine out and left a message saying something like "seizures aren't fun". You still had yours at the time, so I added them back in and posted in the general derby thread basically saying that if you got to keep them, then so do I. Then I came back later and they were gone from both our sigs. Sorry. >.<

Nah, people love vector clip tshirts... it's when an artist is able to create a tshirt which is done well enough that jealous and misinformed people presume it must be clip-art that no one likes it. Nah - he admitted before that it is exactly what he does. Read back a derby or two so you wont be so Misinformed. He even bragged about how quickly he can trace, vectorize and piece mail together.

If other people presume it is clip art, it is because the artist is not talented enough to make it look like something other that clip art.

that would depend on the sort of clip-art you're looking at.

The point is, jimiyo creates all his own work. I did read before, and I did get informed. He creates images, and sells them as clip-art, but he creates every image himself. Which makes it pretty pointless to call it clipart in his case, doesn't it?
