Thanks Andy. Wow, you commented even before I could!

Anyhoo, Atari 2600 and myself will both be 31 this year. I'm old.

Those monkeys remind me of me and my brother when my dad brought our atari home. The square controllers bore a hole through our palms, but we loved it.

I like that it represents Atari without any "pixelated" artwork. It can be done!

Love it. Want it. Voted for it.

very smooth design. I hope this makes it to the fog. Good luck, GMV!

GMV, i love monkeys. the glow on their faces makes them really pop out IMO. I love it. Definite buy if you get in the fog (dunno why you aren't.)

Well, thank you. Apparently Nintendo > Atari to most wooters. So it goes.

Good luck to you as well.

Mmmm. I'd feel better about it if it wasn't quite so... phallic. (Especially with the one monkey reaching the way he is. O_o )

I love 2001: A Space Odyssey. I remember a few years ago it was playing at a local theater that showed old movies, and remember there being 20-25 nuns in the audience watching. My friend and I were surprised because of the Darwin-type- kind of message, but hey cool to see they enjoyed it! The game reminds me of many days during Christmas vacation playing the heck out of this thing! My youngest brother still has the system. He even has the old Pong monitor type thing that we played when I was a kid. Sheesh, I feel old. :o(

Sad, as the Atari 2600 is the console that started it all. Guessing more wooters are 80's babies from the derby standings. I still remember getting this on Xmas. The monkeys remind me of myself and my 3 brothers as we opened the box with wonder and awe. Great use of the T-shirt color and I really like the 2001 reference.

While I was growing up, the only console game in my house was the 2600. My parents were afraid of television burn-in (or so they said), so we never did get another console. When I would go over to friends houses while growing up, I was always so excited to play their high tech NES. These two memories make me love all things NES and Atari (with slight edge to Atari). I have a working NES, 2600, and an Atari Flashback 2.

hehe, tv burn-in, classic.
No Intellivision!? Loved DK, Burgertime, Horse Racing, & some of the other sports games on that console. Still quite an impressive classic collection. I was completely addicted to Tecmo Bowl. Might still have my ole NES boxed up in my parents' basement after all these years. If they didn't trash it...{shudder}. The oldest working console in my closet is Sega Genesis. A 2600 would be so rad. Too bad it all went down hill with the E.T. game. Late 80's... ah good times, good times.

Skaght - sad I gotta wait til June 17th... Regardless, grats on a great design that evokes many fond childhood memories, as well as being the impetus for one of my addictions.
