Good gag, but not original art.

Rejected because: Good gag, but not original art.

Re: Vitruvian Tumbler

So I might resub this so you can see the design more clearly. (it's da Vinci's Vitrutvian man with a spin!)

Based on past experience, I believe this will be rejected for "not enough original work" or similar.

That vacuums. I mean I know that the image isn't copywrited, but the idea was to go with something super simple as well as something that everyone knows. Cause I mean no one would get the gag if it didnt look enough like da Vinci's man. Right?

It was just a guess on my part. In the past they have accepted da vinci designs that overlapped images blended with original artwork or were in some other way modified extensively, but not ones that were just the images themselves. Just FYI.

I'd guess less likely to be rejected. It just strikes me that the tumbling concept and execution ought to be enough addition that it oughtn't to get rejected.
pity you can't see it on the shirt image, though.

Thanks for the advice. I may try to alter it and resub. Maybe a bit cartoonier? Yes?

Try drawing a more cartooned version. Or draw any character in the same position (with both sets of arms and legs) with the circle around it in the same way. I think people would get the joke.

Cool. Done and Done! Check out my resub "The vitruvain man" all of the drawing was done by hand on a tablet, no image altering this time.
