Thank you for all your nice compliments and for your votes. I'm glad you guys think it's funny. I was worried how I could imply all of the luau party without making it too complicated, but fortunately the silhouettes weren't too hard.

well .... the silhouettes might not show up that well on the brown .... but i think that is fine in this case. They don't really need to stand out.

Photos of Dusty Keys showed that black on brown shows up well enough if you use a large shape, like the silhouettes in the background.

@Adder - I was concerned too, but it was really the only way I could do all the people and still be pleased with it. Since the pig is the focus, I'm hoping it will be okay that the people are subtle. You know what's weird? The people in that first picture you referenced are both very close friends of mine. O.O XD

Absolutely love this!!! I think it is beautifully executed! The pig retains the focus clearly, and yet the background people make it clear that the pig is at a luau without taking the focus off the pig! Not to mention the pig is well drawn and the motion is well defined! If this gets printed, I will be buying!!!
Never mind about the colors, you can't make everybody happy. Every shirt that wins has a comment about not liking the color choice. I would be very happy to wear this shirt as is, like I said before, beautifully executed.

No kidding right? I mean, the flower designs are nice and all (they really are), but this is the best entry out there right now. I love the fire dancer one too, I think that should definitely get printed, but if 2 shirts this week are flowery and decorative, and this one doesn't make it, I'd be sad.

Yeah, it's six colors. Burgundy, Olive, Orange, Lt. Yellow, Peach, and a very very dark brown (basically black.)

It is so funny to see this title and reconcile it with the current battle for the fog. I know everyone in the fog and nearby is really battling it out right now, but it really fits this design's title and the pig's face.
I just scanned the entries in the hotness and seeing the pig among the other hotness entries just makes him pop out and look alive.

The pig is in the fog with 15 votes in the hotness. The Rainbow flowers were at 551 in 5th place. Then the pig gets another vote in the hotness and goes to fifth place at 551?
What the heck is going on here?

People might be taking votes away from either entry. When you have designs that are close, people will add and take away votes on purpose trying to get one to drop out of the fog so they can get an idea of what place another shirt might be in. It's stupid, I know. The hotness doesn't take into account votes that are taken away, I believe...
