I have to agree that the font you used/created/tweaked is awesome. I think using halftones for the moon would ruin the desired effect (in my perception).

The Blue Ridge Parkway is partly located within the Pisgah National Forest. So "Blue Moon Parkway" is a play on the Blue Ridge Parkway. Hope I spelled it out for you good enough.
