Re: The Madness of it All
Since I dig anything red on black, I had to vote for this...
Re: The Madness of it All
I like the art, but the placement doesn't seem right...of course, I can't figure out where it should go...
Re: The Madness of it All
NICE!!!! Very well put..... GMV Stellardig
Re: The Madness of it All
very nice
Re: The Madness of it All
There's something very intriguing about the white cracked line down the middle of the ground and the figure. It reminds me of calling a mad person "cracked."
Quite nice!
Re: The Madness of it All
Looks rather phallic to me.
Re: The Madness of it All
Oh I see what you did thar! Reminds me of live not on evil. I like it, GMV

First thing I thought of too... A big red engorged... The colors scheme is really cool though.

I -didn't- see that, but now I can't un-see.
But really though, it looks pretty good. I like the off-kilter placement and the subtle-yet-striking white streak makes it very interesting to look at. It balances out the dark tones -just- enough, while still adding to the feeling of desparity achieved by the rest.
Re: The Madness of it All
My first thought was 'Whoa!'. My second was that the placement is wonky. My third was that the central figure looks heart-like enough to warrant a place right over the heart. So, I'm right back to 'Whoa!' :D
Re: The Madness of it All
I like this, but it is too small on the shirt. I think that is why some people have mentioned the placement seems wonky. If it was scaled up by 25-50% it would get my vote.
Awesome creation really hope it wins. I want this so bad.
Re: The Madness of it All
thanks for the comments and votes!
please check out my new design as well:

Re: The Madness of it All
Love the placement!
Re: The Madness of it All
The composition, colours, placement and style of this shirt all really appeal to me. However, I don't really 'get' what's going on in the lower part of the design, below the character's feet, and that sort of bothers me - any explanation as to what that's meant to convey?

you don't see the grim reaper?

I'm assuming that is sarcasm...bc definitely not. ![]()

No, not sarcasm, the reaper is there, on the shirt. You have to kindof 'upside-down' your brain, or literally turn up-side down to see it. The reaper is the shadow/antithesis of the angel that's the main focus.
Re: The Madness of it All
Haunting design, and a great representation of insanity. I'm curious, are the right-angled fractures intended to represent a cross? Regardless, nice work. GL.
